Hi Guys.
This might be a silly question, but does anyone know if i can control individual devices with the MiniMote instead of scenes on Vera? I mean if i want to simply turn on a light switch i really don’t want to create an entire scene for it.
Sadly, that is how the scene controllers work most reliably with remotes. Pleg may be an option, but there is little I could find on PLEG and Scene Controllers best practices except a recent post I’ve proposed…untested at this point.

I do remember that on some remotes, pairing an individual device was possible…but then I believe the remote was acting as a primary Z-wave controller (and the device can’t be paired with Vera)

Did you try the instructions on “Creating Scenes” from the Aeotec Manual:

Mine is setup with a bunch of Vera-controlled scenes, so I wasn’t game to try it, but I just tried the “All On” instructions and they work as you’d expect (except, in my case, I have a bunch of Fans etc that also turned on, but somewhat to be expected)
I think its simpler for me to just make scenes in Vera and control them. Who knows. Perhaps in the future i will make it do something more in the future 
I use the minimote with PLEG, using “Scenes activated” or “Scenes not activated” as triggers for conditions.
