I have one AEON Micro dimmer that just will NOT unpair, or pair with vera edge, even ethernet connected, and right against the switch.
This device worked just fine on UI5 / vera lite before I removed it from the vera lite. I have followed all the steps in the instructions. I did not have this issue originally pairing.
Does anyone have experience with this device on Edge/UI7?
Enerwave 7 scene wall controller was the easiest wall contoller I ever installed in UI5. On the phone with support yesterday for an hour, and we could not get it installed, ethernet connected, right next to the device
Leviton vizia RF 2 button / 2 load wall controller. Same results. It freezes up “Adding load 2”.

If you still have the Vera Lite, I’d use it to include the device, as a test, to verify that the Aeon has not failed.

Assuming the Aeon works, you’ve got three previously working devices that will not work with a new controller. Since the issues are at the include/exclude level, rather than the OS UI7 level, it would force me to suspect a defective Vera Edge controller.
@ Z-Waver - ??? Very interesting thought about a defective controller. I did buy it used on Amazon. So, I have attached a list of all devices for my installation release for March. Would you take a look and tell me if you have seen a bad controller, that was able to add the types of devices that were sucessful so far ? To me, the Edge is great at previously futile devices, but still has issues with basics, possible like the Micro Dimmer.
Up until your last post, you mentioned only three devices. Had you mentioned that there were nearly 100 devices working fine, I would not have considered a bad Vera Edge.
I haven’t heard of any issues with the Aeon dimmer, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. If it were me, I’d still try including it with the Vera Lite, as a sanity check. But based on this most recent disclosure, it now sounds like either you have a bad Aeon dimmer or you’ve found a bug in the Vera Edge.
Zwaver - Thanks - as you suggested, I have tried with the old vera lite also, same results. I will remove it from behind the switch, and also try shutting off the breaker, and returning power as well before I consider it bad. Weird, how it went from working to not working since removing from vera lite. I will share my results.
I received my 1st smite, perhaps I have been sharing / asking too much, lol

I’d definitely try the breaker flip first (keep it off for a good minute or so). I’ve had a few devices that needed a reset to get working (breaker flip). They haven’t needed it since.
