Aeon Labs Multisensor 6 - Stuck at "Please wait! Getting the manufacturer"

Ok,
I just added an Aeon Labs Multisensor 6 to my Vera Edge. The Multisensor is running the latest firmware (v1.07) released June 17, 2016.

I added it by selecting I was adding a Multisensor 6 and it seemed to add fine. I did not do anything manual to add the device.

However, when I go to devices I have a message “Please wait! Getting the manufacturer” when I look at the device.

I have waited for over an hour for the “Please wait!” message to go away.

Any advice on what I should do?

I will answer this one myself.

I deleted the Multisensor 6 from the Vera. I chose “unpair” when deleting the device.

I then added the multisensor 6 (by again selecting the Multisensor 6 under the “Sensor” list of devices.)

This time the device connected properly. The main thing I noticed this time was the device name was autofilled with “Multisensor 6 in 1” rather than being blank.

I am now showing 5 devices:
Motion sensor
Temperature Sensor
Light Sensor
Humidity Sensor
UV Sensor

So I think everything is fine with the device now. Time to play with this sensor.
