Aeon 4-in-1 multisensor ZW074-C

Hi guys!
Im having problems with my multisensor, ZW074-C, from Aeontec. I have been in contact with them but they dont seem to recognize my problem. I have also emailed Vera Support but no answer so far.

So, Im running a Vera Edge with the latest firmware. So far i only have 2 Fibaro wall plugs and the multisensor included, apart from a few plugins (sonos, pleg etc). The problem is that pretty much as soon as I have included the sensor and press “Arm”, the sensor triggers. And then it stays triggered forever. It only seems to execute my scene, turning on a lamp, when the sensor is polled, or maybe when the wakeup interval is met. Im not sure which.

Any ideas? I have excluded/included the sensor for almost ten times now and nothing helps. Today i tried to reset my z-wave network and re-added the sensor and wall plugs. Didnt help one bit. Even thou I did it 2meters away from the Vera.
Stress testing the plugs and sensor gives me full connection to the plugs but only pings work on the sensor, no polls. The sensor is connected with USB.
What the F do i haveto do??

Thanks in advance,
Hampus Royson

I don’t know, but this is probably the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought. Motion was so sensitive that it found motion inside a locked closet. The temp and humidity accuracy are awful, and the batteries drain so fast. I’ve moved on from the device and am happy!

Another disgruntled owner here as well.
Bought mine back in July and I’ve only ever had trouble with it ever since.

It’s constantly triggering alerts , even when disarmed and as “johnes” as said, it chews through batteries. I’m on my second set already and even those are down to 19% as I type.

Vera Support have been investigating remotely for quite a while and haven’t managed to resolve it as of yet. Very disappointed.

I’ve tried unpairing and repairing all to no avail. Would love to get to the bottom of this.

I have exactly the same problem…

Have 2 old Aeonlabs 4in1 motion sensors (old version) and both have the same problem.
The are tripped and stay tripped for a very long time, this problem is started since the last firmware update.
With UI5 and former firmware i never had any problems, now the motion part is completely useless…

I also submitted a support ticket for this problem, not had any respond yet…

Maybe someone has tips to solve this…

Hi,

I also have a Vera Edge with the latest firmware and a MultiSensor Gen5 from Aeon Labs (ZW074-C).

I started by making the following to make movement possible to be detected:
Parameter 3 to 30,
Parameter 4 to 1 and
Parameter 5 to 2.
(Variables / VariablesSet = “3-On time (1-15300),2d,30,4-Enable or disable motion sensor (1=enable 0=disable),1d,1,5-Command sent when motion sensor triggered (1=Basic set 2=Sensor binary report),1d,2”)

I have also made the following to solve the Tripped problem:

Trigger
tMotionPatioDetected, Whenever Multi Sensor detects motion whether is armed or disarmed

Condition
cTrippedOffPatio, tMotionPatioDetected and (tMotionPatioDetected; NOW > 5:00)

Actions for Condition: cTrippedOffPatio
luup.variable_set(“urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:SecuritySensor1”,“Tripped”,0,x)
where x is the number of my MultiSensor.

I have just removed my batteries and added a USB power supply. The strange thing now is that the Vera can’t detect the multi sensor but light is updated according to the sun. Strange.

Best regards
M?rten

Hi

Please check my advise in earlier post, my three sensors with this work-around behave as supposed now.

These settings work fine on the latest vera firmware on the 4in1 however the 4in1 gen 5 keeps tripping, so i guess this is a UI issue

Hi jonte,

Where should I add your code?

Just found out from Aeotec support that the present solution until a fix is made is to connect the device without batteries to the use connection inside and plug into outlet, then include and after its included and configured disconnect and put batteries back in
