When I add the sensor to my vera and choose a room, all devices (4in1, temp, light, humidity) gets assigned to that room, except the motion sensor which gets assigned to “no room”. Is that correct behaviour?
Also the temp in my room is 21C, but the 4-in-1 reports 30C.
I have the latest firmware in both VeraEdge and 4-in-1.
I’ve seen guides for optimal settings for battery powered sensor. But they seem to be directed at the UI5 version of vera - I can’t find all corresponding values in UI7. Could use som help here.
Under Veras Devices / Settings, there is a dropdown menu called “Automatically configure”. What should I select; “use default”, “yes” or “no” ?
Thanks
I have them all in the same room. Did you add it as a sensor or generic Z-wave device?
I use the USB charger thing (not battery powered), so i have set the wake-up to 30 sec. If you just installed it, it needs some (a-lot) of time to adjust to the temperature. Mine is reading correctly.
I have set it to automatically configure (YES).
Not having any issues with this sensor, but have yet not utilized the motion detector though…
It was listed in the known devices under sensors (4 in 1 sensor Aeon 4-in-1(DSB05)) so that’s what I used.
Did you add it as a generic device?
Temperature is showing the correct numbers now, guess it needed some time.
Right now I’m trying to arm the sensor in night-mode.
I flip the switch but it doesn’t save, if I go back to the modes-screen it’s bypassed.
If I look under it’s advanced settings, it looks armed though (1:;2:A;3:A;4:A). Maybe it’s just the UI7 that is funky.

Maybe it’s enough having the motion sensor armed, but still… buggy interface.
By the way, I think it’s awake all the time when it’s USB powered.
Yeah, when it comes to arming it - I have no experience. There has been to many issues with Ui7 I had to sort out first… Currently just using it as a humidity and temperature sensor in my basement, which keeps the place free from frost (hopefully).
I think i added it as the known 4-in-1 sensor but I am not 100 % sure. Did a-lot of trial and error at that point.
Sorry I cant be of more help, will look into this sensor when I get my heating under control
Er du forresten norsk? Eller kanskje svensk? Lyktstolpen er jo ikke s? internasjonalt…
