Adding battery or solar powered Zwave Motor to Roll Shade?

When I bought my house it came with Hunter Douglas roll shades… 6 of them.

I’m curious if it is cost effective to add a battery or solar Zwave Motor to them?

Replacing the current shade with a Lutron motorized shade is $450 so if I can do it for $150-$200 it would be worth it.

thx

Sorry for the late reply. I would start by looking at your tube profile and measure its diameter. It could be that Somfy makes an adapter kit for your tube. You could get Somfy battery motors and choose whether or not to add their solar kits to them to motorize your existing shades. It will probably cost around 150-200 for the parts and motor, but it could be more with solar kits.

Somfy systems are around 188 out the door on ebay

I haven’t seen any roller motors that are z-wave built in.

EDIT: this might be more what your looking for.
