Adding a camera. Why so hard?

I have multiple Panasonic and Foscam cameras. Had them in MCV at one point but I changed IP’s, passwords etc so just deleted the cameras. Now I can’t get them back in at all.

I am also running BlueIris and would frankly like MCV to view the BlueIris jpeg refresh stream as a camera feed. The URL is: http://serverIP:port/image/Cam1, Cam2 etc.

No matter what I do, I get this:
Unable to get image from your camera.

I get this when trying to add Panasonic and Foscam cams directly (bypassing Blue Iris).

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

foscam set it to port 80 and install the vistacam plugin and motionsensor (if you have non HD ipcam) reboot the vera and when it restarted and finished unplug the foscam and plug it back in again after 15 secs (need upnp autodiscovery to be on)
the panasonic you have to add manually i guess… dont have one so i cant tell.

I have Blue Iris running and am trying to interface the camera output to VERA. I’ve successfully interfaced the camera directly but for some reason Blue Iris will not yield up an image

My Camera URL in the Plug In:
http:///livestream.cgi?user=&pass=&streamid=0&audio=0&filename=front%

but it keeps saying the Camera URL is invalid.

I can directly access the camera using:
http:///videostream.cgi?user=admin&pwd=admin

and I successfully get the camera image in UI5.

Anyone using Blue Iris and Vera care to take a look and tell me what I’m doing wrong?

I want to solve this before I tackle the business of getting motion alert data from BI into VERA.

Thanks

My Vera and Blue Iris server are on the same network subnet. On the Web Server tab for BI, for authentication, it is set to “Non-LAN only”. This means I don’t have to pass credentials in the URL, which I haven’t bothered to figure out how to do.

I’m using the standard Vera camera component. Port/IP address and then URL is just /image/Room (where Room is the camera name in Blue Iris).

The full URL would be http://server:port/image/room
