I hooked up an AD2USB to my 20P (Safewatch Pro 3000) panel. Everything seems to work fine when hooked up to my macbook. Assigned keypad address 21 to the keypad via terminal and added it to the panel via my 6160V keypad. All works fine when hooked up to the macbook. I can see the logs, arm and disarm the system. When I hooked it up to my VeraLite and installed the “Honeywell Ademco Vista Alarm Panels via AD2USB”, it showed up under devices. However, the “Addemco Vista Alarm Panel” (ver 2.45) says “Lua startup failure” at the bottom. The top status area on the portal also says “Ademco Vista Plugin: No keypad assigned to partition 1”. Could someone please give me some guidance as to how to fix this?
Did you configure your serial port?
