AD2Pi Compatible with AD2USB Plugin?

Hello Automators!

I am looking into purchasing an AD2USB for my Ademco Vista alarm system. I have thoroughly read through installation instructions and also looked for details regarding the plugin available for Vera. Unfortunately I have found nothing. Judging by the title, the AD2USB plugin might only work with the AD2USB adapter and NOT the AD2Pi for whatever reason. I may be completely wrong in my judgment, but I’m here to ask if anyone has had experience with, or knows for sure whether or not it will work.

The AD2Pi seems to work very similarly to the AD2USB, only difference being that the AD2Pi is actually made for the pi and not a windows system.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have both the AD2PI and the Envisalink 3. I prefer the AD2PI but have never got it to work as reliably as the Envisalink with Vera. The Envisalink plug in seems more well developed and more active with updates.

For Vera interface I use the Envisalink, for remote alarm control and alerts I use the AD2PI.
