Access archived pics from cam

It would be great if you could access the pics my camera archived due to motion sensor trip.

Example : my cams are setup to take pics when they detect motion. To access them I have to go into the Vera webinterface, use several click to actually see the pics. Tedious but also often not possible via my phone.

It would be much better if I can access them via the camera widget (similar to datamine data). This is needed quite often when I get alerts that people have entered the house and I want to see who.

There is no API to access the archived photos on vera. It is not accessible to third party developers.

Do you know how the Dropbox uploader does it?

I believe the pictures are retrievable via a url

As I mentioned in the other thread, the Dropbox plugin only requests the current camera image and uploads it to Dropbox. There is no access to older images from Vera’s picture archive.
