I currently have a EZMotion 3in1 but it will not arm. I can press the ARM button all day, but it doesn’t change. And the single Scene i have “Sunset Prep” is suppose to ARM the sensor, does not arm it either.

The Light and Temp do change regularly.

what are you expecting it to do when it is armed ?

The arm/bypass status is only used by the Vera Software.
The motion sensor tells Vera ever time it sees a motion.

The Vera Software then uses the Arm/Bypass status to decide if any scenes (or PLEG/PLTS input trigger) need to be fired.
The user has the ability to specify a trigger based on motion … or armed and motion.

Right Now, I am just trying to get it to ARM. I am pressing the ARM button, but nothing happens. However I do have a couple Scenes that I would like to use with this device…

I want it to act like a Motion Senor on the front porch that turns on the lights when someone approaches.

I added an image that should explain how I set it up.

When you click arm … the Arm button should stay selected. When you click Bypass … the Bypass button should stay selected. That’s all it is supposed to do.

Is it not doing that ? It looks like it did when you armed and bypassed them in your Prep scenes.

Are you expecting it to do something else ? If so what ?

That is correct, It is NOT doing that… it never arms.

Are you sure your scene is not turning it off right away ?

That is possible, I am very new at this, do the scenes look wrong (attached above)?

Not sure what is going on… I deleted all scenes… ECLUDED the Sensor, then Re-added it…

now, it started in the ARMED state, and I can’t get it to “bypass”

All Scenes where deleted and I still can get the device to change state from ARMED to BYPASS

does it have to be awake? shouldnt pressing the button send a wake up?

Everything you did looks right!! Not sure what your settings on the motion sensor is!
