So I am looking to integrate my garden watering and am needing soil measurement device for moisture, temp, ph, etc. So I find these on Ezlo’s new website, low and behold none of them are listed in the integration list.
Then I see that Ezlo is guaranteeing integration of unlisted items in 90 days or less… OK I can live with that if its true and I can begin to expand what I always expected Ezlo to do for me.
I put in two Zigbee devices I inexpensively purchased on Amazon. Both were found as Zigbee devices but both had different outcomes on what they came back with in terms of features (one temp and humidity sensing, mixed functionality) and the other just a singular generic (no functionality).
Will these get integrated in 90 days or less… guess I will find out… Professionals – Ezlo - Property Empowered
I have been playing with Tuya as well and so far what says is compatible works well and has solid UI interface. Curious if Ezlo is moving to add its controller gateways (Plus, etc) as a compatible Tuya Gateway? Tuya must have a lot of resources, presuming China, because it seems that every Chinese device is now integrating into the Tuya platform at an alarming rate.
Lastly, I see Ezlo is trying to move to the professional market for rentals and setting up special apps for Property management and renters… Hey I get it, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive in this neverending and changing home automation market with such big players (apple, google, etc). I rented a property, before buying in FL, and the big national company forced me to buy into their home automation solution, it worked but can’t say it was worth the $40 per mo they charged.
I think the grind with those of us that have stuck with Vera/Ezlo over the years is that development has ground to a minimum in the MIOS arena. So hopefully someone in the admin is listening and will respond to us.
