3G Dongle Veraplus / Application Version: 1.7.2138

On my Veraplus / Application Version: 1.7.2138, I see a message under Settings > Net & Wi-fi. The message is “The 3G dongle is not plugged in, cannot enable 3G WAN failover. Plug in the 3G dongle and click the refresh button”

I can’t find anything much in the forum regarding this dongle. I do want WAN failover though. Is there a dongle for purchase that works with my unit? I assume I would need to get service through my cellular provider … AT&T.

The 3G dongle is part of the CMS (Central monitoring) deal. If Vera loses the WAN connection it will switch to the 3G dongle to make sure CMS still has a connection. I’m not sure which 3G dongles are compatible though.
