3 different Vista/Foscam IP Cam Apps -- WTF should we be using!?

There is a “new” cam app just posted on the Vera app store called “VistaCam SD&PT”

So NOW there is …

VistaCam SD&PT 1.28
VistaCam PT&HD IP Cameras 1.3
Foscam IP Camera 2.6

I have the last two installed… no F’n clue what one it is actually using or which I should be using.

I have a few 9810w and will be getting three 9821v2 soon.

Can someone PLEASE explain the differences, and maybe VERA employee can update the damn Wiki!!!

I am having the same issue. Got a Vista Cam PT 2 days ago. With VistaCam SD&PT 1.28 and
VistaCam PT&HD IP Cameras 1.3, it still comes out as a Foscam not a Vista Cam. Can’t get it to work as well. When you go to the cam’s IP, you get a dinky control panel without any settings you can actually control.

Vista apps were just updated… still no reply to this thread or any Wiki info.

I am no camera expert. But I think you could download the plugin files and quickly compare them, then you would sure see the differences pretty quickly.

I use TinyCam Pro… it’s pretty slick.
