Does anyone know how to get this 2GIG Takeover Module (Take) to connect to VeraSecure.

Hello there,

VeraSecure does not have any wired zones this device can attach to. Compatible 2GIG devices can be used directly with Vera without this module.

I would second the support for the Takeover module, this would allow conversions of existing alarm systems to VeraSecure and avoid having to add wireless battery powered modules all over a pre-wired house. Is this coming soon? Couldn’t this device just show up as 8 motion sensors?

Sorin, this works the opposite of what you think. The VeraSecure would make a wireless connection to the Takeover and it acts as a bridge & power supply for wired sensors.

People use this to migrate wired sensors from ADT or whatever onto a new 2GIG wireless control panel. The user connects hard wired sensors to the Takeover’s 8 zones and then you enroll the Takeover as as 8 RF sensors on a 2gig panel.

Ideally, VeraSecure would support it, allowing people to migrate their existing wired sensors onto the Secure.
