2018 - Where to start with MiLight or not ?

Hi

My garden spot lights take regular MR16 bulbs. Looking to change them to RGBW MR16 WIFI Controller bulbs.

Looks like the Vera plugins for MiLight no longer work with the newer MiLight WIFI bridges ?

So guess I need an older WIFI bridge and I am good to go ?

Any pointers or tips as I have never used these type of bulbs before and certainly not with Vera.

If you follow this topic… you will be able to get Milight working with the new controller… Just make just everything is CCT compatible… Bulbs, controller, remote, etc.

I’m confused as to which MiLight Wifi controller box I should be buying ?

I don’t really want the one with the integrated light is there an alternative current version ?

IBOX1 or IBOX2

This listing on Aliexpress here for an IBOX2 say its the latest version 3.0

But there is a version 6.0 one isn’t there, so confused ???
