A glitch was discovered in 1.1.1221. That’s why it wasn’t released or offered to anyone (beta testers included). It’s been fixed, and we’re testing a new build and if it works, 1.1.1222 will be offered to the beta testers today, and to the general public a few days after the beta testers confirm there are no problems. I emailed davidlee separately to try to figure out why the upgrade didn’t work for him.

I’d be interested in news on firmware updates too please… I noticed that 1245 has had release candidate status for a month now, when will this be released to users?

As an RC it is available for general beta testing since April 20th. See the thread @huogas linked to.

That’s as good as it gets if you’d like to stay somewhat current with your firmware. .1245 is definitely worth exploring.
