So after hours and hours of trying to control my mini split, I was able to figure out how to teach the zxt-120 to play nicely with my samsung mini-split. I used the IR learning method because when I tried to use the pre-programmed code I never knew what signal was being sent to the mini split. When I would press “heat and 73 degrees”, what would come out is fan.
So my question is … I have a couple “codes” stored in the zxt120 (e.g. - Parameter 1 = Heat, 72 degrees, low fan) and I can control it by putting parameter 34 and selecting 1, 2, 3, etc… But I need to input one number at a time to send the signal in the “configuration” setting.
Basically how do I control the output from my xzt-120 on my vera-lite? How do I set it up, for example to work on an automated sched (scene)? If I want to wake up in the morning and have the heat going. How do I do this wit hthe learned IR codes. I can’t find how to do it anywhere. Thank you
