Just installed 15 Düwi switches in my new house and started configuring my Vera2
But how much I try I cannot get the unit to include my switches, with the button the Zwave light never starts flashing. After reading some forum topics I tried to use some of the Zwave commands but the unit just responds Zwave not ready. During startup the message Zwave failed to start is displayed
I’m really frustrated, have tried different firmwares, reset to factory defaults
When upgrading the unit never tells me the upgrade is finished, last time I waited for 45 minutes before I unplugged it
My Vera 2 flashes fine, but the Duwi switches are a pain to include. The instructions mentions to press the up button 3 times fast. I did that but they mean really really fast, as if you’re playing a shoot em up game and have no autofire on your joystick (showing my age here).
Already done that but no reply so I tried the forum instead
MiOS tech support #28697
TechSupport enabled on my device

Hi Mikael,
Could you let us know how your problem was resolved? What was the issue? It’s not uncommon for multiple people to see the same problem, especially if caused by factory configuration errors or firmware problems. Your experience might be helpful to others.
Would love to see a fix for this that was user-doable, my brand new Vera2 has been suffering from this since being unboxed and I’m very disappointed. Have raised a support ticket via the dashboard and directly via the MCV website and still no response.
i’m hoping that maybe one of the tech guys or some other smart person may be able to help me with this because i get no response from tech support after two open-ticket tries and several follow up emails. My Vera seems to be stuck in “Starting Zwave network” status when i go to the Dashboard screen. It worked fine for months, then i added another light timers and a motion sensor, worked for a week or so, but nots its stuck hard in this status, i’ve rebooted several times, no luck. I’m on firmware .1350, dont and 3.2 zwave (think i saw that somewhere on the displays), did not do any firmware or upgrades, just seems to all of a sudden be acting up. Would try a heal process except the the vera is in a remote location, doesnt appear that you can do a heal remotely. I enabled ssh and logged in remotely to the console, but i’m not really sure what to look at to see why my zwave network wont start. Maybe its having trouble reaching my new motion sensor in the garage, i remember that i had to move it because the vera was having trouble reaching it when i first activated it. Could the inability to reach a single zwave device cause this zwave network startup failure? Thanks in advance for any information.
