I am running Vera as a secondary controller to my Leviton Remote
I have a couple of switches that need to be reset because they are still tied to the Vera. I noticed that (under new firmware) the Zwave functions for including and excluding don’t work now…no blinking light when tapping the zwave button or holding the button…any suggestions. The GE dimmers have no reset button and I don’t want to switch Vera to a Master due to issues with the Zone Controllers I am using.

I’m seeing a similar behavior. I couldn’t get the z-wave switch to cause the light to blink regardless of short (include) or long (dissociate) presses. I finally reset the Vera2 to factory behavior, and then re-flashed 1047, and THAT doesn’t work either. I’m certain I added a Z-wave (GE) switch with the latest 1186 firmware, and then today, I couldn’t get it to work… so I reset the Vera, then upgraded to 1047, and the z-wave switch doesn’t cause the z-wave light to blink… either after a short press, or after a 5 second (disassociate) press…
Anybody else seen anything like this?
I finally got the z-wave button to work… after I reset the z-wave network, in which case I lost all the pairings. But after that, at least the switch worked like it was supposed to. Good thing I only have 10 switches…
Click on the zwave device icon. What does it say under the “Options Tab” next to the “Role” section? For example mine says:
Role Suc SIS:YES PRI:YES
This means that Vera is the main/primary controller. If is said Suc SIS:YES PRI:No then you can have an issue with being able to include/exclude devices. The only way to fix this is to reset the zwave network. This is a bug in the zwave firmware in which hopefully will be fixed in the future. There was news posted from MCV saying they will be working with Sigma to fix these issues.
