I am having some issues with the Router even accepting any Zwave products. So I was hoping to put on a few devices and compare it to the SchlageLink system…

If you are having paring issues, which you have stated in another post. Call tech support as you may need to have the z-wave chip re-flashed. This should only take ten minutes. If you can, open up a support ticket from the vera unit and allow remote access as well.
