DON’T, unless, unlike me, you know how to make it work properly. I managed to get it to be included as a generic zigbee device and it works wonderfully… in white!
I’ve addressed the support team at Zipato and just some minutes after got this reply: “Regarding the VeraPlus controller, the problem is that they do not have a proper descriptor for our device and they need to support it.”
Being new at this home automation thing has costed me already much more than I’m willing to accept (and to tell my wife!). Fibaro Button, Fibaro Keyfob and now the Zipato bulb. My 3 brand new and expensive paperweights!!! With what I paid for them I could almost buy a new controller… one of those that… control things!!!
Off topic, this bulb is also not Philips Hue compatible.
