At this moment we are developing new Android app for Vera. We are in alpha testing stage so it will be released very soon. Unfortunelly we dont have any support from MiCasa. They even do not respond on any our mails. So we will need Your help.
We need:
about 10 beta testers that will help us go from beta to stable version,
people who help us translate app to other languages
your lu_sdata files. This data help us to support all the devices
I understand you frustrations. Many of my emails in the past have gone unanswered and I’m a dealer. I have no idea what direction they plan on going with. I had my Vera 2 with 50 devices including thermostats and alarm integration, but in my option it had a hard time running on a network that big. I have since switched to HomeSeer Pro and my Z-Wave network is running solid as a rock!
We start working on application when there was only HomeBuddy and it was not updated very ofen. Then we didnt like it’s GUI and fact that HomeBuddy doesnt support many mios apps. Now when HomeBuddy have new GUI and there is autHomation, we have lot of work to catch up this apps (BTW: great work Rakstar and Garett). We have also couple of new functions in mind.
Secondly we wanna to control the application, for example: have good support for polish language, when client ask us for integration with unusual device then we can do something with it, etc.
Thirdly app has our company brand.
Unfortunately MCV still do not respond for our emails and still we do not have any support from them, so we decided that application will be paid. Sorry guys Of course beta testers get it free.
computerjohn: Yes, this is big problem. MCV does not care for people that works for them. When we read that Ap15 leaves work for MCV, we was wondering where this company going.
