Z-Wave Lock inside door, what about the outer metal security door?

My home has a metal security door on the outside. I recently installed a Kwikset Z-wave deadbolt on the inside. Has anyone ever run into a situation like this?

Should I put another Z-wave lock on the outer door? Perhaps have a scene where the metal door unlocks the inner one as well? I really like the z-wave lock but I hate that now we don’t lock the metal gate because of it.

Any suggestions?

Putting two zwave locks on one entry point is pretty redundant.
Is your zwave lock a deadbolt lock?
If so, I would put the zwave lock on the metal security door and a regular deadbolt lock on the interior door. The metal security door is where your security is, keep it there.
