hello, i recently installed veralite from the vera2. After installing all the z-wave devices into the veralite system and setting up the app i have now found that ALL of the z-wave devices have been deleted from my minimotes memory. Can anyone help??
How did you move devices to the Vera Lite? Did you Exclude and Include them? If so, then you’ll need to reset the Minimote and Include it on your Vera Lite.
It’s probably too late now, but the better upgrade option would have been to include your Vera Lite as a secondary controller in your original Z-Wave network. Then do a controller shift to make it the master controller. This would essentially import all your Z-Wave devices into the Vera Lite’s Z-Wave chip and your Minimotes would still be a part of the network.
hello , yes i tried to pair the minimotes on the devices page and they initially appear on the devices page then they disappear. Do you have any ideas to remedy this?
Did you first reset or Exclude the Minimote? You must do this before Including it.
If you did, then I would recommend that you contact Vera technical support for assistance.
Z Waver, would you be able to give me a “Dummies” guide to doing this? exclude and include.

Reset the Minimote. Press and hold the Learn and Associate buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. I don’t recall the blink sequence. See the minimote manual.

On Vera, add a Z-Wave device. Choose Additional devices and then Other Z-Wave device. Once in Include mode, press the Learn button on the Minimote. - Again, check the Minimote manual for blink patterns.
yep, thats exactly what i have done. it appears in devices then it says something like reconfiguring zwave devices then it it disappears.
