Anybody know if there is a z-wave fan control module that can be located up by the fan? I already have the Leviton in wall 3 speed switches
in other bedrooms but this fan I just bought at closeout was missing the factory rf remote so I bypassed all the rf remote stuff and wired direct.
The lights of the fan are controlled in part by a lutron grx-3106 (pre zwave) and my old fan had a 3 speed pull chain so it was wired direct to hot.
I’m thinking about just buying the replacement rf remote and be done since I can’t find a zwave one thatll go inside fan. My only other option is to run a 14/3 out of fan box and locate the normal zwave inwall switch in a remote location.
if you don’t need the speed control i have used the MonoPrice on off controller. They also have a 2 line controller that could do light and fan. The problem is then you have to use the fan speed switch on the fan.
