Hi i’m new to Vera an have an Vera Plus.

Actualy tryed to get an Aeon Labs Z-Stick Series 2 to run with Vera as a Secondary Controller.

If i’m understad it corretly, then the Slave Controller can’t include devices but it can use it for own sceenes. So my idea wars to combine Vera Plus as Master an the Z-Stick 2 but something goes wrong.

Well i have make an backup so don’t panic and make some roll back from the Backup. So far so good but sice then i can’t include any device in the Z-Wave network. Take a look to the meassage below:

Im have wait for the device and also reboot the Vera…
How can i’m fix it ang get the Vera als Master and the Z-Wave Stick with Domoticz as slave working?

Can you please navigate to settings → Z-wave settings → And attach a screenshot with the Options tab ?

On VeraPlus, you will either have to reset the unit to factory defaults, to make it primary, or have customer care handle it, to make it primary without losing data.

Ok so if i’m reset so all data are lost and i have to set up anything again, also pair all devices new?!?

Why is my Vera actually not the primary and how can i pair with the Z-Wave sick without the same mistake?

Whenever you transfer Z-wave to another controller, in this case the z-wave dongle, the previously master controller becomes slave. As it’s not possible to have two Master controllers with the same set of z-wave devices.

I would advise to contact Customer Care as they work over the weekend and they would help you get over it, without losing any existing data.

Hi

i’m reporting back. The support from Vera has fixit and my Vera is Master again. Without lost my data :slight_smile:

But my question is still the same, how can the Z-Stick S2 (DSA02203-ZWEU) included as an slave Controller?

Or is this not possible?
