You are not using the latest browser?

I don’t know why, but I’ve run into this several times when I log into Mios and open the dashboard, I get the prompt that I am not using a supported browser and to get the latest an try again. On my XP laptop using IE8.0 I wrote it off as perhaps an XP compatibility issue. Downloaded Chrome and it works fine on that machine.

But then, I got the same thing on my Windows 7 desktop with IE8. IE9 is still Beta so what gives? Again, I loaded Chrome and the notifications went away. Anyone else seeing this?

I have seen that with IE 6 and 7 . I’ll try it and post

You’re seriously using IE. Wow.

Old habits die hard I guess. My youngest son is always digging me about using IE. That’s the only option I get at work and OWA only gives ‘lite’ access to non M$ browsers. (I feel trapped).

But thanks for the encouragement Rancho!

You might want to verify that you do not have the browser in “compatibility mode”. There is an icon directly to the left of the address bar that will change the browser to emulate an earlier version of IE that Vera doesn’t handle. The icon is a ‘toggle’ so click it once to change modes.

I use both IE8 and the beta of IE9 and both seem to work fine.

Good find @Frazierwa. I do not have an icon directly left of the address bar, but Tools>Compatibility View Steeings had a check for some reason next to ‘Intranet’ to view in that mode. Cleared that and the message is gone.
;D ;D

I know I said to the LEFT of the address bar… actually it the icon immediately to the right of the address bar as in the attached screenshot.

Glad that worked.
