Yale YRD226 with Vera Edge

I just installed the Yale YRD226 on my Vera Edge. I can lock/unlock the lock, but I have this error message “Setting user configuration” in red with an exclamation mark. On the dashboard, the current status changes back and forth from “Your installation is OK” to “1 device is no longer connected”

Did anyone have the same problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

I solved the problem. I deleted the “Configuration Settings” under the “Device Option” heading.

Do you mean you deleted each individual of the eight options under “Device Options”?

Sorry, I was away. Yes, the only one I did not delete was: “8-operating mode”.

Hi guys,

Gen 5 Yale locks might fail at configuration with error “Setting user configuration” . If this is the case, go to that device in Device options and delete parameter 6 , save the changes, and after the engine reloads, lock will continue the configuration.

This is the only issue with Gen 5 Yale locks and it will work just fine after doing the above.

This is a reported issue and will be resolved in 7.22 firmware update.

I just installed a Yale YRD246 lock and had this issue, I followed your advice, deleted parameter 6 (Radio event reporting), saved and then the lock finished configuration.
