I have a friend that has a Yale touch screen lock controlled by Vera. He recently updated to 1.5.622 after the update he has noticed that he has to change the batteries more frequently. Has anyone else noticed this?
I didn’t notice any changes in Battery consumption on my Yale push button (not touch) deadbolts…
Same here. I have the pushbutton, not touchscreen, and haven’t noticed any difference. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how long they’ve lasted. I’ve only had mine for about 3 months but it gets a fair bit of use and still has 95%.
Check to see if it changed his polling. Also, did he change battery type, brand? Different apps report battery life differently also. I have touch screen Yale Sony eneloop, I get a month of life.
but 1 month of life is little, not ?
what really the time for yale touchscreen batteries ?
Thanks for the feedback. I have spoken with my friend and he is using the same brand of batteries, and he has not change the polling. He is only getting about a month now out of his batteries. He said that he used to be able to go 2 or 3 months depending on use. Since no one else has complained I am assuming that it has nothing to do with the firmware. I have suggested that he remove an add the lock again…
