Yale Keyfree Lock and Touchpad Stopped Working

I came home today and tried to open the lock using the Homewave app.
I noticed the app said the door was unlocked, but it was locked.
I couldn’t use the app to unlock the door, so I went to the touchscreen.
The touchscreen was not responding properly. 3 or 4 random numbers a stuck on. I tried pressing keys and the numbers went out and then different numbers lit up.
I was finally able to get in by pressing the dark areas that represent the areas where the lock code numbers would be and it worked.
What could cause this to happen?

At this point, I think I may have had it with this lock. I really regret getting rid of my old Sunnect lock and I can’t repurchase it because it looks like they went out of business even though the Sunnectlock web site is still running.

I’m curious to see if there might be some simple fix for this problem and I may give it one more chance, but I am really leaning towards finding an alternative.
I would at least like to get the lock working again so I can use it normally while shopping for a replacement.

I just realized the lock should still be under the 1 year warranty.
I have already tried restarting it by pulling the batteries and installed new fresh batteries and it has not fixed it.
I’m going to try seeing if a complete factory reset gets it working again.
If not, I will try calling Yale tech support on Monday to see if they have any remedies or else get an RMA.

Does anyone know if there have been any firmware updates on these locks in the last year that could make this lock more stable and reliable?

I did the full factory reset and now I can’t reprogram it because the number lights don’t light up on the touch screen at all now.
The voice prompts work and is prompting for a new master code to be set and the key press tones work when I touch the screen with a finger, so I might be able to program it by guessing where each number should be on the blank screen, but it seems like it is has to be defective.
Vera controls don’t work. The web interface says: “Failed at: Please wait! Getting secure classes.”
If I try to lock or unlock the door through the web interface, it doesn’t work, but I hear the chime noise on the door, so there is some kind of communication working.
