Hi All, I was hoping to return my Xbox to Full Screen TV mode (via HDMI passthrough) if there is no motion detected in the living room…to go along with turning off the lights.
Sadly, the WAF is declining due to her constantly needing to figure out the Xbox interface to get the TV back in TV view mode.
Anyone know an Xbox One Code to get back to Full Screen TV mode reliably?

Could you learn the code from the new XBO remote…? its pretty cheap … might be worth looking into.
I did not see they release a remote. Is it Infrared or RF (like controller)?
Bummer, I can’t learn the code the to automate with Vera (unless I add an RF transmitter to Vera)
AgileHumor, I got your PM but I can’t reply. It doesn’t appear there is any IR command to “Watch TV”. There are definitely IR commands for the Xbox One, but “Watch TV” is not yet one of them. The closest I found was this… http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Harmony-Remotes/XBOX-One-and-launching-straight-to-TV/td-p/1137157
If anyone else has discovered any updates to this, please let me know!
Side note: if anyone is interested in the integration of Xbox One and Z-Wave, but the other way around, check this out… How my Xbox One Turns my Lights On and Off
Thanks of the tip…and your blog guide are extremely well written. Thanks for sharing!
PS - I think you need a few more posts before you can PM for antispam.
My mistake on the above post… there are definitely IR… meant to say not RF. Sorry for the confusion AgileHumor.
Does anyone know if the Vera IR “Microsoft” codeset works with the XBox One?
I don’t know if I didn’t find the best place for the IR blaster or the codeset is wrong.
Just want to know before I break out all the IR learning applications.
@AgileHumor , you’re very welcome, and thank you for the compliment! I’m glad I could help.
I would like discrete On/Off IR codes from my XB1. I haven’t tried learning since I got the remote but it doesn’t have an On/Off button.
Try these…
Device Code: 128.216 Function: 41 power on

Anyone know how to send those discreet codes via the Vera Advanced Tab? Or, do I need to edit XML files for the IR code?
You should not have to use the Send Code command, but if you set it up right, that dropdown should have a list of all of the commands that you specify in the XML files. If you haven’t already, check out my in-depth guide on controlling IR AV devices with the Vera here…
Let me know if you get stuck on something. Thanks.
