Wizard not working: 404 - not found

I received my vera2 today and started to set it up. After following the startup settings I am Boeing redirected. To the wizard (192.168.178.10/wizard) but this shows me à url error 404 - not found. What am i doing wrong?

To simplify things as much as possible I have connected the unit to a laptop which has a static IP address of 192.168.81.2 set.

When I connect Power to Vera2, all the LEDs come on except for ETH1 and ZWave which remain off.
After about 10 seconds all the LEDs except for POWER go off.
The LEDs remain in this state indefinitely.

When accessing the IP address of Vera2 (192.168.81.1) I briefly see a black page with “MioS Administration” centrally written in white and then “main page” beneath this. Within a fraction of a second the browser seems to be redirected to 192.168.81.1/wizard and I see a 404 error “The webpage cannot be found”

This is a new unit.
I have previously been able to access the Administration page on MioS.com but never the Vera2 Dashboard.
This page states “I found Vera, but it looks like you’ve already started setting it up”
In an attempt to start the configuration setup again I went to the Advanced tab and chose Factory Reset.
After doing this the Administration page on MioS.com gets stuck on “Loading data” forever.

last week I sent a support request to MicasaVerde from the Admin page of Mios but, despite sending a followup email I have received no response whatsoever. I just wondered if anyone had an idea what could be going on.

Thanks for the cmh tip. This does actually show a MIOS screen but sadly this doesn’t get very much further.

The screen permanently shows “Server Busy” at the top.
For about 30 seconds I see a “Loading Data” popup. Then this turns into a popup showing:

Data not loading?
Setup your network or
Upgrade your Firmware or
Activate Remote Assistance
Request tech support
[try again] [cancel]

My laptop is connected directly to Vera2 (192.168.81.1) and there is no connection to the router or internet so it’s not possible to attempt most of the options.
If I “try again” then the process repeats and I end up at the same place.
If I try “Setup your network” then no matter what values I put in the following screen it makes no difference.
e.g. if I set a static IP address of 192.168.21.81 then hit “Save and apply”. When I reboot Vera2 it still comes up using 192.168.81.1 as its IP address. Strangely the Setup screen remembers the values which I entered, it just doesn’t seem to use them.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

The Data not loading? popup appears when the user_data cannot be retrieved, either because the lighttpd is down (highly unlikely), or LuaUPnP is down (most likely). Usually an upgrade fixes this, but you need internet access for this.
