Wintop idoor contact temp adjustment.

Daft question. I want to adjust the temperature that the idoor contact I have is reporting, by -2degs

The manual says parameter 6 will do this,

The temperature offset
Description: Default:
Size: Param1,2: Param3,4:
Read more in chapter Configuration Reset. 1 byte*
if 0xFF then set to default
not used
Configure what the external contact sends when trigger 0x00 (send alarm report)
1 byte*
if 0x00: Send a alarm report with type 2
If 0x01 ‐ 0xFF: Send a Basic set frame to all nodes in association group
2.
Is not used but still can be set and requested. 1 byte*
Is not used but still can be set and requested. 1 byte*
the operating mode. 0x01
1 byte*
Mode 1: Normal operating mode.
Mode 3: Z‐Wave chip is always on to request e.g. version or manufacturer id.
If any mode other then 3, that value will be reported after a get but will be handled in SW as mode 1.
not used.
A offset for the temperature. 0x00
2 bytes*
A signed integer to determine the offset off the temperature. not used

What’s the idiots guide to do this?
In device options, I add variable 6, the 2byte hex?, but what is is the desired value for temp-2?

Thank you.

Thanks foryour help.

I’d try the hex value: FFFE (for -2)
