Is there a way to add a Creative Labs Motion Live! Webcam on a Windows 7 PC to the list of available webcams on a Vera?

Hi AnotherSuperStar,
If the Creative webcam has a web interface or you can forward it’s image streaming to a port on your PC, you can then setup the IP Camera on your Vera. To make it more clear, an IP Camera has an IP that can be set in Vera’s configuration, a Path for the image and a username and password.
You can use WebcamXP to install the WDM drivers etc and this will take your webcam and make it an IP cam that can be streamed, etc. This would work for you
That’s a rather interesting idea… I already have a server that is sitting on my desk that I could hook something like this up to, to see the computer room.
Will this work with USB webcams?
I realize it is supported as mentioned in the wiki, but I’m not sure if this works with any old USB webcam or is it only with compatible iCanView USB cameras???
