Hello,
I am a huge windows mobile fan and when i had the hawking Z-Wave system they had an application, i would like to have an application written for windows mobile. I dont want to keep going through the mobile web interface to activate scenes and open locks… is there an application like the one written for android?
Please windows mobile fans, any advice?

I am able to write my own WM/WCE program. Already have the framework from an older project.
I checked iVera and found an url that I can use to get a user data xml file from the vera box.
This gives me an overview of all the devices and events. But does not tell me how to switch a light etc.
Is there some information available in a decent format as I dont really want to loose time on reversing iVera just to see how things work.

I have always used Windows Mobile on my phone and yes its a but outdated. The new windows phone 7 platform supports visual studio/silverlight as a programming language which should not make it difficult for an experienced programmer to make an application that connects to the vera web services/api.
Now just to find someone he is willing to pick it up

Got my initial approval for the marketplace. Just gotta add a couple more things and it should be good to go.
It has it’s place. I loved my Windows 6.5 OS handset when I had it, but when I switched to a Samsung Moment, then a HTC Hero & now have an HTC EVO. Since going to the Android OS, I’m not looking back. Microsoft dragged their feet on this for a LONG time. They didn’t see the importance & the smartphone jump in the wireless industry. Thanks to Android everyone is getting a smartphone that is cheaper & faster than others in the industry. Now that their is a war between Apple’s iOS & Google’s Android, Microsoft & dumb RIM (Blackberry) got motivated. As usual Microsoft is always late to the party & RIM is betting that their push e-mail system will carry them.
As for Apple, they have not learned from their past. Stop wanting total control of your hardware & software! You almost went out of business with this practice on your earlier MACs, then Microsoft dumped millions into Apple, so that wouldn’t happen. They weren’t being nice, they would of been a monopoly if Apple went under. They still have this control thought with their iPhone, iPads, & iPods. BTW, going to Verizon good idea, too bad you missed the flight, since Android & Windows 7 phones can do the same if not better, with a removable battery.
Sorry for the rant. lol… Great idea for the Windows app!
