Hello,

I’m just thinking out loud…
The Z-Wave portion of the system should work no matter what country it is located in as long as it is powered up properly.
3 things might be a problem.
Notifications - via email…probably good – via text or SMS… maybe not
Login to home.getvra.com might not work. The device(s) has to be registered with MiCasaVerde and your IP address being out of the country may prevent that.
The Z-Wave radio waves frequency might be in violation of which ever countries “FCC”'s airwave laws and rules.
Best bet is to contact pre-sales support and ask them.
To the best of my knowledge teh Philippines do not have a specific frequency for Z-Wave. If you are to follow the advice of the above user make sure that going forward that you buy devices based on the same standard, Europe or the US as your controller.
The Philippines uses 220V supply voltage which is basically European voltage and so Eurpoean z-wave devices are probably best. That said, the Philippines supply is 60Hz which is US standard. Hopefully the EU model z-wave equipment is okay at 60Hz as this is more likely than US z-wave being happy with 220V.
Whatever you choose. Investigate the devices you intend to buy first.

Why can’t I access home.getvra.com? I tried it today and it outputs “home.getvra.com?s server DNS address could not be found.” Do I need to get the device first before I’ll be able to access this or is this server based preventing me to access it because of IP address?
Can I still use the device without checking FCC airwaves laws and rules? Will it still work anyhow?

The address is home.getvera.com not home.getvra.com
Slartibartfast is Correct, I misspelled it unknowingly… it is home.getvera.com
The reason I said that was because there are electronic products in the US commercial market that cannot be legally taken outside the US borders. Do I know that as a fact for this product? NO I DO NOT…and no I am not going to research it for you, but you can ask support when you contact them because they will know and it is very possible that unless you are communicating thru a VPN that home.getvera.com may not allow connections from a Philippines IP address… Do I know that for a fact? NO I DO NOT. Do your homework… I am giving you ideas and things to ask about when you do your homework.
Just sayin’ so check it out and avoid future regret…
I am also sure that the power adapter that comes with all Vera’s is 120v-240v / 50-60 hz.
But that is not the frequency I am talking about.
The frequency I am talking about is the Z-Wave radio frequency band that your Z-Wave operates on.
It’s not about whether another country has a “specific” frequency band designated for Z-Wave or not…
It’s about operating within a frequency band and possibly disrupting service of other devices that may use that band or are in close proximity to that band.
rym – DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST - it may be a benign moot point… but it may bring you a world of grief if you don’t know the right answers to the right questions.

The voltage and frequency I mean is for the actual switches, sockets etc that connect to the house systems. Some appear to be 110-230V other are single voltage only. Look into the actual devices other than Vera.
I doubt there is any problem exporting Vera from the USA it is not made there anyway.
As Marc said, the Philipines do not have a z-wave frequency yet but that bandwith should still be okay. Still worth checking though.
OK… ya made me do it…
