Will ip camera affect vera performance?

I have some issues with my vera3 setup.
I have some rooms with automated lighting which is configured using scenes.
I use scenes because of complex logic.

The problem is that i have lighting sometimes going ON as soon as motion device triggered.
But sometimes I have a delay from 5 to 20 seconds.

I also use ip camera’s (more than 10).
None of them configured to save snapshots^ I only use them to check picture online from computer or mobile.

I’m looking for improvement of vera3 reliability. I have an alternative way to check cameras throuth NAS.
Will it help me with vera if i will delete cameras from vera?

What else i need to look for performance optimization?

I experience the same behaviour (though I must say vera3 is significantly zippier than vera2) and I don’t have any IP cameras, so I’d suspect removing the cameras won’t solve your issues.
