I’ll bet that this is a browser rendering compatibility issue. You’re not using Internet Explorer are you?
For best results with Vera, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome are recommended.

Well, definitely don’t try any other browser. I can’t see any point in that. /s
I’ve had the same issue since I have upgraded from veralite (UI5) to veraedge (UI7). I have tried firefox and safari and they both look the same on a MAC as what you are describing. It sucks and it’s not very professional looking. Something one would expect with a beta version not production version. Would not think you need to look at it on a specific web browser.
If you are having this problem, contact customer care and describe it to them. For me, they said I had “ghost files” on my vera edge which was messing up the display of the buttons. They quickly removed those files and it works and looks great. And in the new iOS app too!
