Which is the best thermostate for vera3?

I need a programmable thermostate for my house.
Which one is the better choice (the network controlloer is a vera 3 UI6).

I would like these functionality:
7 days programming
2 temperature interval (start and stop HVAC)
a nice display is a good but touch is not necessary.

7 day programming is usually an issue as your using vera to control it not the timer or calendar anymore. I know my TRANE the schedules are canceled out and not usable once its connected via z-wave.

2 temperature setting is also an issue in the ui6 and ui7 (which I’m not sure why your on ui6) but it’s a UI problem not a thermostat issue so all are the same.

Nice display is subjective.

I do too, but so far two of the three things he requested are out, and the third is subjective. LOL

True, I suppose! I assumed the Tranes had 7-day scheduling, but I have no idea because I’ve never needed it. Funny, when I think about it, the thermostats are the one device type that I’ve just installed and never messed with. They do what they’re supposed to, every single time.

I’ve got the Horstmann C-Stat 17-zw. It’s z-wave, 7 day programmable and has served me well for a few years so far.

I’ve set the programme fully into the room stat, but then it’s included into vera for alterations and remote control, scenes that change the setpoint if we’re away and i haven’t altered the 'stat etc.
