I use the Fibaro ones, they work for the opening and closing very good. Also very satisfied with battery consumption, compared to the Eversprings I used to own
I have 3 Fibaros, and they are working really well, no false triggers, and trigger reliably when doors are opened. Only thing i never managed to get the temperature sensors to work no matter what i did, so i am using them without now
but the tempeature sensor supports only Full degrees … this is very disappointing since the sensor itself is 10 times more accurate.
getting them added is tricky but works fine after its done properly.
simply remove the device completly via “-” Button on the vera … reboot
connect the Temp sensor to the sensor, pair again 2 times (to make sure) … then set wakup time to 30 sec or so until the sensor does show up …
Just managed to fix the existing Everspring one however, not sure what was going on, I couldn’t poll it or send the configuration to it. In the end I put Vera in battery mode and included the door sensor again and after that I was able to send config and poll it OK. Seems to be working again now but I burned out a brand new battery messing about with it. Will have to get a new battery now.
The Everspring door sensor has always been temperamental for me and trips when it shouldn’t, which upsets my wife as a Z-wave siren goes off in the house and all the lights come on lol.
