Where are the snapshots stored?

Hello All,

I am building my first scene and I have the following question. I am using a motion sensor to trigger a snapshot from my VistaCam SD camera. I have two questions:

  1. Where are stored the snapshots? The UI Vera Dashboard says that my camera sent a snapshot but when I go to Alerts → History it says No records found

  2. Is there possible to trigger a x seconds recording with this type of camera (VistaCam SD)?

Snapshots and videos are stored on Vera’s servers.

The snapshot might not be considered an alert where it would be in your alerts tab. Go to the camera in the UI and find “Recorded” to view your snapshots. Most of the use and configuration of the Vera cameras is highly disappointing as there is limited user control. For special triggers with duration and time, I think you should search this forum for some sample lua code to add to your scene. It’s pretty easy for the most part and plenty of examples available.
