what's a 404 not found

what’s a 404 not found. I get this message with the word logout above it when I try to use the mobile version of findvera. I get this error ever since I updated to the most recent firmware. I’m starting to think z-wave users will have a new saying “if it ain’t broken too badly don’t try to fix it.” I’ in summary:. I have a Linksys router running my wireless network and from lan 1, I have a cable to Vera. Since the time I first started using Vera I had problems with keeping my Internet connection on my computers. The wireless network would work, but not the Internet. I replaced the Linksys router twice, the cable modem, and all the cables. Finally I stumbled on the answer, and I can’t remember how I did it. Then everything worked acceptably well. I ccouldn’t leave well enough alone. I wanted a report from my heal or repair run. I was told to upgrade the firmware, which I did today, and everything is back to losing the Internet.and when I can get on the Internet and try to access findvera.com/MO I get the error 404 not found under the word logout. In fact, I use the mobile application on my laptops and PDA. I get the same error on each of the computers and the PDA. I use that mobile application more than I use the usual findvera.com. what can I do?

Can you access Vera locally still? If so under Advanced>Net&WiFi> “How does Vera connect to the internet?” do you have the option “Through another gateway on my network. Vera is a switch” selected? Are you set up for dynamic or static IP?

Hi,

The problem lescombs had was from the missing plugin or a broken dns. I think our last email fixed his problem.
