What to trigger

Hi, I know this is a stupid question, but I cant find the answer.

I have a switch for my front door lights. I used the examples listed in this forum to setup them going on at sunset, off at 11pm. And then on at 6am and off at sunrise. My question is, what do I trigger it with. I add this script to a scene correct? Would manually triggered work and it responds to the script?
