What is the problem for G..Sakes?

I was the biggest cheerleader for Vera ever…really. I weigh in at 301lb and 6’1". Pretty big. That being said. WHAT the heck is going on? I have well over a thousand invested in this stuff and it has turned worthless. It ran perfectly for two years and then U17 has ruined my vera 3. I invested in the edge and it has gotten no better. After four hours with support, my system has been running crippled with just the basic timers working. One motion detector out of four works. None of the door and window sensors work. I have called and called support back and cannot get them at all. I have stripped and reloaded and reset until I am drinking. I go by the home page on line and see the fancy web page and "it works with every device and how reliable it is!!! what a CROCK!! If you bastards wanted to ruin vera and start charging for an account, why don’t you just fess up instead of acting like your going to fix this stuff!!! My vera 3 worked across my house and out to the porch. The new edge loses devices in the next room. NO power at ALL! The new software is slow and sluggish and takes forever to figure out what your looking at. There is now quick dashboard of devices…its spread out for pages. AND NOW THE FINAL STRAW…My aquarium lights and outdoor fountain have decided not to work. There goes the timers. When I looked at my account settings today, it says that it is 8 hours later than it is “central time”. YOU can’t even get the time right!!! I am soooo sooo upset. I am going to start looking at alternatives that might work with my equipment. YOU are NOT leaving me or anyone else a choice!!! I don’t know why you guys sold out, but you need to quite worrying about that pretty web page and start worrying about the promises of a GREAT product of the past! :-\ :cry: >:(

Unpleasant situation. I guess my only comment here is that if you are sure UI7 is the problem, you can roll the Vera3 back to UI5. Move critical devices back to it, and factory reset the Edge and use it as a test box until your devices do work with UI7… Just a suggestion, and I know not what you want to hear…

Wilme…thanks for the suggestion, tried that with forum support…hence the 4 hour vera support. I work in the tech automation world. This reminds me of Emerson. To fast to come out and no support for those things that have proved effective in past yyyyears. I am going to try to make this work. I just wish I had a choice after an investment in such a reliable system. I am dumbfounded and pissed at such a supreme mistake from the genius that started this. It is just so…CEO and not system proud. Anyway…gonna try support Friday for door sensors. He’ll if u can’t have door sensors, motion, and timers…u have nothing.
