I want to make my own interface for controlling the Vera Lite.
Do you think this is possible by simple HTML commands?
- switch ON/OFF lights, outlets
- status of lights change an image accordingly
- information about temperature, light, humidity, etc. shown as text
- open and close shades
- enable/disable scenes (security, entertainment)
- control of devices via plugins (such as Yamaha Receiver, Philips TV)

I don’t have the Vera Lite yet - it is on the way though.
Maybe this question is obsolete as any command on the Vera Lite is already HTML? If so, can I access it from everywhere without VPN?
The goal of doing this is to get an uncluttered interface, which I can modify for my needs. Additionally I can run this on iPhone as a WebApp.
Any thoughts about this?
