Web interface suddenly unreliable on LAN

I’ve been playing with my Vera Plus all week, connecting with both the web interace and the Vera iPhone app.

This morning, upon trying to connect through home.getvera.com, my controller showed up as “Offline.” I went to the basement, and confirmed that it was still sitting there, apparently all connected. I power cycled it, and on the next try, I was able to connect. It’s getting an IP from via DHCP, and has been consistently at 10.1.10.39.

Right now, the home.getvera.com page shows my controller as “Offiline.” On my iPhone, I can use the Vera app to connect to my controller just fine.

Vera Plus, desktop, and iPhone are all on the same Wi-Fi network.

Since I typed those two sentences, the home.getvera.com page now shows me the “Connect” button. I connected. My first action was to dismiss an alert at the top of the page. Vera responded with “You must be logged in to perform this action,” and I was kicked back off.

This has been happening off and on for the past few hours, with no other changes to my network in the mean time. Any ideas what’s going on? If I’m connecting directly to my Vera Plus on the same network, are Vera authentication servers even involved? Could it be a disruption on the Vera server end, or is it my network?

I can confirm that I have also noticed this on my vera edge. I understand (from the Vera platform status report) that Vera Control are doing some server updates today but I am confused as to why this impacts local controller access?
I have always been told that Vera works without Internet access but today, like ahsboy, when I try to access Vera via my LAN it constantly asks me to log-in over the internet and (presumably because of the system maintenance going on today) I am currently unable to get into my system i/f. My controller is working normally and direct access via SSH is also fine.
