Hi,

I just uploaded a video showing my problem with Vera:

The problem is that I just added a simple switch and when I turn it ON physically (turn switch on by pressing its button), in Vera devices it still shows it with an OFF status,
but when I turn it ON in the Vera’s dashboard with my computer, it shows it ON.

Please let me know if I’m doing anything wrong or I need to set any parameter.

This is a common issue that new comers experience. What you are experiencing is a feature called instant status. Only a few brands support this (leviton, Cooper, some fibaro and Aeon devices), due to patent issues with Lutron. What instant status does is that if your press the physical button on the switch, it will notify Vera of the change immediately. Otherwise devices that do not support this feature will have to wait for Vera to poll the device (which can take a few minutes to update). There is a lot of information on this forum that discusses instant status. I highly suggest you search for this term on the forum and read up about it.

The dimmer that I’m getting is: Leviton Vizia RF+ ZWave 1 Button Dimming Scene Controller, part number: VRCZ1-1LZ

The VRCZ1-1LZ device you indicate is not actually a dimmer. It is a scene controller that can control dimmers.

If you are looking for a Leviton Dimmer that supports Instant Status and can reliably dim LED bulbs, then I would recommend that you look at the Leviton VRMX1-1LZ 1000W Vizia RF ZWave Universal Magnetic Low Voltage Dimmer.

Agreed, just keep in mind that the current FW for UI7 on Vera Edge isn’t working with the Leviton switches yet:
