I have been using X-10 devices to connect my weather radio to a strobe light. The radio has an alert out jack than produces 6 to 18 volts DC when there is a weather warning. This voltage is sent to a X-10 PowerFlash module which in turn signals a X-10 Appliance module that the strobe light is plugged into.
Is it possible to use Z-Wave components to accomplish the same as above?
