Hi all,
I have the file of a Vera UI5 backup. Now I upgraded with a clean installation of UI7.
Is there a way to decrypt the VERA UI5 backup file, so then I can recover my camera URL, Pronto Code, etc…
Thank you in advance
Regards,
Matteo

My UI7 read my UI5 black up without problem. (except when I had recurrent scenes programmed to run every x mn as part of the backup )
Vera backup files are not encrypted. They are zipped tar files (.tz). I believe the free application 7-Zip can open them.
I can see it with 7zip, thanks!!
May I ask you if you know in which file I can find for example all URL of camera?
I’m not able to find them.
Thanks!
Matteo
All devices can be found in the file /etc/cmh/user_data.json.lzo
This json file is compressed by a unique algorithm. The utility on Vera is pluto-lzo. Though I’ve never used a Windows version you can find a Windows version here.
